For birth to 5 years old
Every week in our Music Together® Mixed-Age Classes, babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and the grownups who love them® come together for 45 minutes of joyful, interactive music-making. Led by a certified Music Together teacher, each class is filled with singing, dancing, rhythm games, instrument play, and plenty of laughter.
From gentle lullabies to energetic jam sessions with child-friendly instruments, every activity is designed to nurture your child's natural musical abilities while creating meaningful family connections. Best of all, your child will be learning through play—and having so much fun they won't even realize it!
Each semester, your family receives a brand-new Music Together song collection to enjoy at home. You'll be able to download the music, giving you access to the songs wherever you go, along with an illustrated songbook and other family resources. Singing and playing together throughout the week reinforces what your child experiences in class while supporting their musical growth, language development, coordination, creativity, and confidence. No musical experience is necessary—just come ready to have fun!
We know family schedules can be busy, so we make it easy to stay connected. Families enjoy unlimited make-up classes if they miss a class, plus bonus classes throughout the semester, giving you even more opportunities to make music together.
Why Mixed-Age Classes?
Research in early childhood development shows that children learn naturally when they interact with children of different ages, much like they do within a family. That's why Music Together® created its Mixed-Age Class model.
Each child participates at their own developmental level. Babies listen, observe, and begin to vocalize. Toddlers explore, experiment, and eagerly join in. Preschoolers build confidence as they model activities and emerge as classroom leaders. Parents and caregivers appreciate that siblings can attend together, making music a shared family experience that everyone enjoys.
